Tonight, I journeyed down to Vue Cinemas in Bury to catch the brilliant documentary about the electrifying musician and artist, Yungblud.

This insightful film delved deep into the highs and lows of recording his new album 'Idols', taking the audience on an emotional rollercoaster through each track.

He masterfully articulated the personal significance behind every lyric and melody, vulnerably revealing what each song meant to him and the intense journey of its creation.

Emmy® and BAFTA-winning director Paul Dugdale is the mastermind who helped to create YUNGBLUD. ARE YOU READY, BOY?, this awe inspiring feature-length documentary i was here to see tonight which captured Yungblud at a major transformative phase in his career.

Ahead of releasing this most personal album, 'Idols,' Yungblud and his band who he states are his touring family who he wouldn't be without journeyed to Berlin's iconic Hansa Studios – famed for recordings by legends such as Bowie and U2 – to perform and record these new songs live for the very first time, without an audience.

We watch as Yungblud, a visceral force, utterly lays bare his soul, pouring every raw emotion, vulnerability and unfiltered feeling directly into each track.
