Manchester's Heaton Park burst into life last night, July 11, as legendary Oasis, featuring the iconic Gallagher brothers and their full line-up including Bonehead and Gem Archer, kicked off the first of five highly anticipated shows in spectacular fashion. Blasting out some almighty anthems such as 'Hello' , 'Some Might Say', to crowd pleasers 'Don't Look Back In Anger', 'Wonderwall' and 'Champagne Supernova' with the crowds here were electrified, an almighty buzz echoed throughout the night. A blistering set, one that will be remembered in Oasis history!

This marked a massive homecoming, being their first performance in their home town of Manchester since 2009 and their saddening split the same year.

With the second show set for this evening, July 12, an astonishing 80,000 fans are anticipated to fill the park once again for what promises to be another exhilarating performance.

Adding to the buzz, weather forecasts predict a biblical heatwave for Greater Manchester, guaranteed that thousands descending upon the park will be donning their Oasis bucket hats in solidarity.
